Return, Exchange and Warranty Repair Policy
1. Scope of Application
This policy applies exclusively to the industrial, commercial, and institutional clients of Maxiteck Tools Inc. All transactions are considered business-to-business sales.
2. Returns of Merchandise (No Defect)
All returns must be preauthorized by Maxiteck Tools Inc.
Return requests must be submitted within a maximum of five (5) days following the invoice date.
Returned products must be:
- new and unused
- in their original packaging
- accompanied by the original invoice
Special, custom-made, manufactured-to-order, or specially ordered products are neither returnable nor exchangeable.
- Shipping costs are borne by the client.
- Restocking fees of up to 20% may apply.
3. Exchanges
Exchanges are permitted only with prior written approval. The value of the returned product will be applied as a credit toward the invoice of the exchanged product. Any price difference will be charged to the client.
4. Defective Products Upon Receipt
Any non-conformity or apparent defect must be reported within five (5) business days following receipt of the merchandise. After this period, the merchandise will be deemed compliant. After validation, Maxiteck Tools Inc. reserves the right to repair, replace, or issue a credit for the product.
5. Product Warranty
Products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, where applicable.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects only, under normal industrial use.
The warranty does not cover:
- normal wear and tear
- installation or usage errors
- overloading, abuse, or negligence
- any unauthorized modification or repair
- damage caused by operating conditions that do not comply with the manufacturer’s specifications
6. Warranty Repair Procedure
Any request for repair must be submitted to Maxiteck Tools Inc. for prior approval. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is required.
The product must be returned in a clean and safe condition for inspection.
After analysis, the product will be repaired, replaced, or returned if the warranty claim is accepted.
Repair timelines vary depending on product complexity, parts availability, and manufacturer lead times.
7. Shipping and Labor Costs
Unless otherwise stated in writing, round-trip shipping costs are borne by the client.
Labor charges may apply if the warranty is deemed non-applicable.
8. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall Maxiteck Tools Inc. be held liable for production losses, loss of revenue, contractual penalties, or any other indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
9. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws in force in the Province of Québec.
